Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actress and model. Her birth date was 11th November 1966. Following her feature film debut by playing a minor role in the Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to portray the anti-Nazi archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte on Taffin in 1988 and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Photographer approached Doody Doody decided to take up modeling that eventually led to a career in commercial modelling. Doody tried to stay clear of glamour and nude roles, which was a principle she applied in her acting. Doody was offered a tiny role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that she was noticed by the casting director. Doody's name was included in John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 of the most promising new actors of 1986. 38. Doody was only aged 18 at the time of her first appearance in the Bond character. Today she's the newest Bond girl. in 1987 Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying where she played IRA Member Siobhan Donovan. Doody played an unseen role as the wife of Archibald Craven Lilias during his dream, 1987's adaptation from The Secret Garden. Doody was Sapsorrow in the episode of Jim Henson's fable show The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) before she took possibly her most famous role in her career in the role of Austrian Nazi-sympathiser as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as a co-star with Harrison Ford. Doody was in the film with Sean Connery in the film in the role of Indy's father. Doody played co-starring in 1991 with Jonathan Pryce opposite the British mini-series Selling Hitler, which was in the spirit of a publication scam known as The Hitler Diaries. She then moved to Hollywood. She took over Cybill Shepherd in the L'Oreal spokesperson's role. Doody then appeared as Flannery Sheen's girlfriend and his agent, opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II came out in 1994. Doody played a role in the 2004 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine portrayed her at a ceremony to receive an award. The year 2004, she starred alongside Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version of King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), an essay on the Holocaust. Doody appeared in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. Doody was later a guest on the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to appear in a remake of horror classic The Asphyx but the project was later put on hold. The actress began her two seasons on Beaver Falls, the E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. She received the Almeria film award on the 21st of November, 2018.
